This is the land for equestrians and golfers, with some of the prettiest landscaping and most prestigious training facilities and membership clubs on Long Island.

Dining, Entertainment & Shopping

Dining in Bridgehampton is an exquisite experience. Jean-Georges at Topping Rose House exemplifies Bridgehampton’s understated elegance and showcases seasonal and local farm-to-table cuisine. Expert mixologists curate seasonal cocktails, and Topping Rose Rosé always pairs nicely with the fresh air and lovely views. French bistro Almond is an iconic Hamptons spot, with artisanal and market-driven menus featuring updated takes on classic French cuisine. Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant is set in a charming 18th-century property and features a playful menu of locally-gathered ingredients. Using only the best ingredients available, the offerings here change monthly, resulting in hundreds of new, innovative recipes a year, like langoustines with braised artichokes, fennel, leeks ragu, sea urchin, and sauce Americaine.

Armin and Judy takes its inspiration from the Riviera locales of the Mediterranean, Basque coastal towns, and traditional countryside inns. With an in-house retail bakery, handmade pastries and pasta, local and sustainably sourced seafood, meats, pasture-raised chickens, and freshly sourced oysters, you’ll enjoy a taste of the Riviera right at home. Stock your own gourmet kitchen at Citarella, a gourmet market offering a stunning variety of fresh seafood, prime meats, carefully curated produce, artisanal cheeses, fresh pasta, chef-prepared dishes, handcrafted pastries, and more.

Things to Do

Known as horse country, Bridgehampton is home to the prestigious Hampton Classic, a Grand Prix event that is one of the larger showjumping contests in the United States. This Labor Day event is one of the Hamptons’ most exclusive social scenes and signals the grand finale of the summer season. The Children's Museum of the East End is a hands-on, interactive experience complete with exhibits and educational programs designed for young learners and families. South Fork Natural History Museum and Nature Center is another family-friendly center of exploration and discovery for children and adults of all ages.

The unique Channing Daughters Winery is set on a stunning 28-acre estate and features wines from over two dozen varieties, as well as a tasting room. Bridgehampton residents stay fit and healthy with fitness industry mainstays SoulCycle and Equinox, while those who prefer outdoor recreation head to Ocean Road Beach, which offers a quiet sandy area just blocks from downtown Bridgehampton. This is a popular spot with surfers, so if it happens to be too crowded for your liking, Mecox Beach and Long Pond Greenbelt provide beautiful year-round trails, a lake, nature trips, and bird watching. Bridgehampton wouldn’t be complete with a golf club, and the elite Bridgehampton Club is one of the most prestigious options.
