Greetings from (almost) the other side of winter!
Real Estate in the Hamptons continues to be strong, with pending and closed sales far outnumbering new inventory in February. On the South Fork and Shelter Island, there have been 183 sales pending, and there were 129 closings. That is a lot of activity! Compare that with just 91 new listings, and you begin to understand the term "seller's market"!
For my part, I am beyond grateful and deeply honored to be recognized by Corcoran Group as a leader in my market and to rank in the top 1% of the Corcoran Group's agents across the country. Achieving $100M in sales (and another $55M in pending sales closing in 2021) was only possible with the faith, trust, and confidence of my clients, the camaraderie and relationships that I've built with my fellow agents, and of course - my pandemic-proof team, that stand always ready to assist me and our clients:
- Operations Manager Chelsea Massa
- Marketing Manager Maxwell Labadie
- Sales Agents Michael Dupont, Kyle Koz and Tina Pignatelli
As we like to say - “We went the distance, so you could keep yours!” Here’s to an even bigger and brighter 2021 – I am so excited about what it has in store for all of us as we move past this pandemic.
Big news in the PropTech industry - Matterport, a company whose success has skyrocketed during the pandemic with their 3D-home-tour technology, is getting ready to go public and valued at over $2 billion! Want to see what the hype is about? Take the 3D tour of my listing at 10 East Woods Path in Sagaponack. You'll feel like you're standing in - and walking around - the house!
It's great to see applications in the public sector, as well -- they're offering the technology for free to help schools plan their reopening procedures.
We've all got the travel bug, and, as summer approaches, we're weighing the best (read: safest) options to get out. Maybe it's by boat to one of our New England neighbors - here are the chicest stays.
I know if you've walked or driven past The Church in Sag Harbor you've been itching to see inside. Well, here's your first look!
A pool, a garage, walk-in closets -- every buyer has their list of must-haves, and becoming ever more sought after is the home gym. My impeccable waterfront listing at 82 Ferry Road in North Haven has all of the above and was also just featured in Behind the Hedges.
We're incredibly lucky to have the outdoor space we do out east, in fact I know that's the main reason most of us came out here in the first place. Here are 55 ideas for making the most out of your patio, even if you don't have as much room as the huge patio and yard at my listing at 36 Woodland in North Haven.
Finding more ways to indulge while we #stayhome, and let's be honest spend some of the money we're saving without traveling, caviar is becoming a more regular treat! Here's a quick guide to the delicacy.
In case you missed it on my recent Instagram story, you have to make Andre Soltner's roast chicken! Roasting a whole chicken sounds intimidating, but it's actually quite simple -- and simply divine. I tried it with a full-size bird, but would highly recommend going the Cornish hen or poussin route!
Thinking about renting out here for the summer? The clock is ticking! If you see yourself spending the summer poolside like at 151 Sagg Main (pictured above) - act now! You can see all my exclusive listings here, and if I don't have what you're looking for - I'll find it!
