1.  Jean-Georges at Topping Rose, Bridgehampton

Not only is the food as exceptional as you’d expect from one of the world’s foremost chefs and restaurateurs, dining on the terrace at Topping Rose is one of the best places to bask in the sun and enjoy luscious libations.


What to order?

The Drink: The Ginger Margarita and the Blood Orange Bellini are welcome updates to your favorite brunch beverages.

The Go-To: The Crispy Salmon Sushi and the Black Truffle Pizza are the perfect share plates (that you won’t want to share!) and the Crispy Fried Chicken Sandwich is absolutely divine with fries that are some of the best we’ve ever had – anywhere. 

The Healthy Option: The Warm Shrimp Salad – trust us! 

The Splurge: The signature Egg Toast with Caviar is a must order when it’s on the menu!

2.  American Hotel, Sag Harbor

Open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, the American Hotel is the perfect place for brunch, and people watching if you can snag a coveted table on the front patio. 


What to order?

The Drink: Bartender Vinnie makes the best Martini in the Hamptons, or any other classic drink, and you’re sure to find the perfect wine for any occasion on their award-winning, one of the most extensive in the world!

The Go-To: The Lobster Club, with a nice serving of lobster to rival any lobster roll on the East End 

The Healthy Option: any of the seafood is sure to satisfy without filling you up

The Splurge: Caviar service, need we say more?

3.  Le Bilboquet, Sag Harbor

Reminiscent of your favorite waterfront restaurant in St. Barths or St. Tropez, Le Bilboquet is the perfect place to dress up and let your hair down!


What to order?

The Drink: The Nuestra Dama is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy for a sunny afternoon.

The Go-To: The Poulet Cajun is their signature dish for a reason.

The Healthy Option: The Salad Nicoise is your first class ticket to Nice for the afternoon!

The Splurge: Caviar Service and/or the Seafood Tower

4.  Sunset Beach, Shelter Island

The coolest spot on Shelter Island, and maybe even the whole Hamptons, the vibe is reminiscent of your favorite casual but chic beach club in Ibiza or or the South of France.


What to order?

The Drink: The Mi Casa is somewhere between a margarita and an Aperol spritz, and is absolutely delicious.

The Go-To: Le Vongole Linguine is the perfect taste of the sea (and as light as pasta can be), and the gruyere on the Cheeseburger is the perfect French take on a classic, while the fries are some of the best in the Hamptons!

The Healthy Option: The Carciofi Salad is so delicious, you won’t miss the meat.

The Splurge: From the Local Oysters to the Baked Clams – get ALL of the seafood dishes to share.


5.  il Buco al Mare, Amagansett

Inspired by their sister restaurant, Bottega il Buco, in Ibiza, Spain, il Buco’s only Hamptons outpost eatures a simple, relaxed menu presenting the best local seafood & produce. 


What to order?

The Drink: Contratto Spritz, like an Aperol spritz but slightly less bitter & sweet

The Go-to: You can’t go wrong with any of the Ancient Grain Focaccias or the Tins of seafood with the most amazing homemade Buckwheat Rye 

The Healthy Option: The Charred Prawns and the Smoked Senat Chicken

The Splurge: The Whole Branzino – we love a whole fish!


6. Lulu, Sag Harbor

One of the only places you can actually eat directly on Main Street, the outdoor tables at this Sag Harbor hotspot highlighting local, farm-fresh produce are some of the most coveted in the Hamptons. 


What to order?

The Drink: The Smoke n’ Fire is like a grown-up margarita, but you also can’t beat the Happy Hour specials on Mimosas, Bloody Mary’s and various wines.

The Go-To: The Lobster Eggs Benedict – self explanatory 

The Healthy Option: The Bibb Lettuce Salad with Chicken or Shrimp sounds simple, and it is, simply perfect!

The Splurge: You know we love a Seafood Tower – they have three different varieties – and the Duryea’s Lobster Cobb Salad is just as good but will save you the trip to Montauk.

7.  tutto il giorno, Sag Harbor, Southampton, + East Hampton (tutto caffè)

The vibe is always right at this Italian hotspot highlighting Neapolitan flavors. The Sag Harbor location has two sun-drenched patios that are perfect for an extended lunch reminiscent of southern Italy.


What to order?

The Drink: A Tutto Spritz or a White Negroni are the perfect pairing for any dish.

The Go-To: The Rigatoni and the Chicken Milanese, which is only on available for lunch.

The Healthy Option: The Catch of the Day Cartoccio is seafood perfection

The Splurge: The Whole Grilled Branzino will make you forget you’re not actually in Naples.
