With over $4.5 billion of luxury co-op, condo and townhouse sales, Cathy Franklin is a 28-year real estate veteran and one of Manhattan’s top brokerage superstars. For 2021 to date, Cathy has in excess of $82 million sold or in the contract. For 2020, Cathy and her team were Corcoran’s East Side Sales Team of the Year with sales exceeding $200 million. For 2019, they were Corcoran’s Overall Top Performance Sales Team of the Year, their sales exceeded $510 million. They also won Corcoran’s 2019 Deal of the Year Award. For 2018, they were Corcoran’s East Side Sales Team of the Year with sales exceeding $200 million. For 2017, Cathy’s sales exceeded over $220 million and they were the number three team. Cathy was Corcoran’s Manhattan Salesperson of the Year for 2016 and 2015. She has consistently been recognized by the WSJ and Real Trends as one of the top 1/2 of 1% of agents in the US and they regularly rank her among the top 10 brokers in NYC. Cathy is a member of Corcoran’s President’s Council, ranking in the top 0.25% of Corcoran’s parent company Realogy’s agents nationwide.
 
Cathy is well known for her marketing and deal-making prowess, achieving record-breaking sales of townhouses including the sale of 12 East 73rd Street for $41 million, the highest price in the history of New York for a 22-footer. As well as attaining the highest sales in the history of many buildings including 950 Fifth, 620 Park, 820 Park, 860 Park, 993 Park, 1095 Park, 1175 Park, 181 E 65, 137 E 66, 333 E 68, 125 E 72, 155 E 72, 39 E 75, 65 E 76, 21 E 79, 79 E 79, 3 E 84, 171 W 57 and 120 W 72. Cathy has brokered multiple transactions in new developments throughout Manhattan.

Cathy lives in a historical landmark 1886 townhouse on the UES with her husband, Jeffrey Baker, sons Otto and Alex (both attended Trinity, Hotchkiss, and Harvard) and William (who attended Trinity, Poly Prep, and Wharton), and an Australian Shepherd named Shadow. Their townhouse and their 1806 Georgian farm in the Hudson Valley have been featured in Forbes, Food & Wine, WSJ, and the NYT. The farm is also home of Hillrock Estate Distillery, producer of award-winning field-to-glass artisanal whiskey. Cathy is a graduate of Wellesley College.
